Blessing of the Animals

On Saturday, September 30, St. Chad's held an outdoor service in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals.  Above, Father Brian blesses one of the more than 30 dogs and cats that attended.  All the dogs thoroughly enjoyed the Service, although a few got carried away and drank some of the Holy Water!  The cats for some reason seemed content to stay in their cages.-)  Below, a group photo.
