VBS Three Trees Arts Camp
The city-wide VBS program is being held
at St. Chad’s this week, Monday-Thursday, for children 4 years to 5th
grade. The program will bring to life the traditional folk tale, The Three
Trees, through art, music, and drama. Join us 9-noon for a ton of fun! Also,
on Thursday, please join us for the children’s drama presentation at 11 am.
Thursday noon Eucharist is cancelled this week due to VBS activities. This
Eucharist will resume next week, August 5th.
Saranam
We will assist in setting up a new Saranam apartment on August
2nd. If you would like to help arrange and decorate the apartment please
contact Betty Kopke (237-1503) or Nancy Sneed (345-2979). Hang on to
your gently used furniture, small appliances, and bedding; we may need them!
Time and Talents Surveys
In an effort to separate the Time and Talents stewardship drive from the fall
monetary stewardship drive, we are again asking the members of your
household to complete Time and Talent forms for ways you can help
through St. Chad's. Please follow a link to print the appropriate Time and Talents form — one
for
Adults and a separate
Youth form this year.
For more information on the organizations you can help support with
your time and talent, read the
descriptions
of the organizations. Return your form(s) in the offering plate, in the box on the usher's
table, or to the office at St. Chad's.
St. Chad's Blog
St. Chad's now has a blog. We hope the blog can be
a place to have further discussion of sermons, Christian Education topics, and

Adult Christian Education
Regularly scheduled Adult
and Youth Christian education will take a break for the summer. See you again
starting August 29!
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday Bible Studies
St. Chad's Bible Studies will not meet for the summer. Please join the La Vida Llena, Brocard,
or post-Thursday Eucharist studies when they resume in September.
